Piracicaba took another step toward planning its future with the launch of Agenda Pira 35, held on Tuesday evening (18) at the Dr. Losso Netto Municipal Theater. The strategic plan brings together guidelines and proposals to guide the municipality’s development through 2035 and was built collaboratively, with the participation of representatives from public authorities, civil society, and 19 institutions.
Pecege participated in the development of the Agenda as an institutional partner, providing technical support in the organization, systematization, and consolidation of the content produced during the meetings. The institution also prepared the reports for the working groups, helping to record and organize the diagnoses, discussions, and proposals addressed within each thematic area.
The process brought together public managers and civil society representatives to address strategic areas such as agriculture and food supply, social assistance, citizenship, culture, economic development, education, sports, the Social Fund, public management, housing, the environment, public works, healthcare, public safety, SEMAE, traffic and transportation, work, employment and income, and tourism. The proposals were organized into three periods: short term, from 2026 to 2028; medium term, from 2029 to 2031; and long term, from 2032 to 2035.
For the Pecege Institute, participating in the development of the Agenda represents an opportunity to place knowledge, technical expertise, and institutional coordination at the service of Piracicaba.
“Agenda Pira 35 demonstrates the importance of bringing different sectors of society together around a shared vision for Piracicaba’s future. For the Pecege Institute, contributing to this process means placing knowledge, technical expertise, and institutional coordination at the service of the municipality, connecting education, technology, and innovation with the development of proposals that contribute to the city’s sustainable development and future,” emphasizes Daniel Sonoda, CEO of Pecege.
The launch of the Agenda marks a new stage in Piracicaba’s strategic planning. Pecege’s participation reinforces the institution’s commitment to connecting knowledge, education, innovation, and territorial development, contributing to the creation of solutions and to the municipality’s sustainable development.
