The MBA USP/Esalq, operated by Pecege, is hosting a series of free online events for professionals interested in topics related to management, technology, people and career development. The program includes live webinars featuring professors and coordinators from MBA programs, as well as an inaugural class addressing the challenges of leadership in digital environments.

The webinars were organized to introduce participants to the areas of study and allow them to ask questions directly to course coordination and student relations teams. The sessions will be streamed online, with live chat, always at 6:30 p.m., on dates scheduled throughout the first half of September.

Topics include Digital Business Management and Artificial Intelligence, People Management, Software Engineering, Compliance & ESG, Sales Management, and Tax Management. The sessions will take place on September 1, 2, 3, 14, 15 and 17, respectively.

The initiative aims to bring the public closer to the structure of the programs and the subjects that are part of executive education. Rather than being exclusively institutional presentations, the events were designed as spaces for questions and interaction with specialists.

“The idea is to offer a real opportunity for direct contact with coordinators and professors, allowing participants to learn more about the programs, understand their content and have their questions answered in a live conversation. This interaction helps each professional assess, with greater confidence, which topics are aligned with their goals,” says Matheus Souza, responsible for marketing at Instituto Pecege.

In addition to the webinars, the program includes an inaugural class for the MBA Executivo em Liderança e Gestão USP/Esalq. The event will take place on September 14 at 7 p.m. Brasília time, with the theme “Leadership in Digital Environments: How to Engage People in Times of Accelerated Transformation.”

The class will be taught by Professor Ladmir da Penha Carvalho and will focus on changes in the role of leaders in the face of distributed teams, faster processes and contexts of technological transformation. The discussion will also address people engagement, decision-making and team management in increasingly complex scenarios.

The activity is presented as a live experience of an executive education class rather than a recording. The format allows participants to follow the professor’s presentation and experience the dynamics of an MBA class.

The program takes place at a time when skills related to leadership, social influence and the ability to lead teams are increasingly among the demands of the job market. The promotional material cites data from the World Economic Forum and LinkedIn on the growing value placed on these skills, but the central focus of the class is the practical application of leadership in digital environments.

Event schedule:

The program begins on September 1 at 6:30 p.m. with the webinar on Digital Business Management and Artificial Intelligence. On September 2, at the same time, the session will focus on People Management. On September 3, also at 6:30 p.m., the topic will be Software Engineering.

On September 14 at 7 p.m., the inaugural class on Leadership in Digital Environments will take place, followed by the Compliance & ESG webinar. The Sales Management session will be held on September 15. The final webinar of the program, on September 17, will focus on Tax Management. These three sessions are also scheduled for 6:30 p.m.

The webinars and the inaugural class are free, held online, and do not provide certificates. Registration for the webinars is available at mbauspesalq.com/webinar.
